1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to ApniSociety, a smart society management application designed to facilitate residential community management. These Terms & Conditions constitute a legal agreement between you and ApniSociety. By accessing or using ApniSociety, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

• Member: A resident of a residential society using the app for community services
• Admin: Society committee members or authorized personnel managing society operations
• Vendor/Service Provider: Individuals or businesses offering services to society members
• Society: A residential community or housing society registered on ApniSociety
• Subscription: The paid service plan for using ApniSociety features

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use ApniSociety.

3.2 Account Creation

To use ApniSociety, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, verify your mobile number and email address, and maintain the security of your account credentials.

3.3 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. Subscription Plans & Pricing

4.1 Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are charged per flat/house in the society
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay payment gateway
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of 18% GST
• Society admins are responsible for collecting and remitting subscription fees

4.2 Refund Policy

• Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the free trial period
• If you cancel during the 1-month free trial, no charges will apply
• Refunds for technical issues will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Pro-rata refunds are not provided for partial months

5. User Roles & Responsibilities

5.1 Members (Residents)

• Pay maintenance fees and event contributions promptly
• Provide accurate information for visitor approvals
• Use facility booking features responsibly and honor reservations
• Submit genuine complaints and service requests
• Maintain respectful communication with other members and vendors

5.2 Society Administrators

• Verify and approve vendor listings carefully
• Process payment verifications accurately and promptly
• Handle member data responsibly and maintain confidentiality
• Use admin privileges ethically and for society benefit only
• Ensure subscription fees are paid on time

5.3 Vendors (Service Providers)

• Provide accurate business information and contact details
• Deliver services as advertised and agreed upon
• Maintain appropriate licenses and certifications for your services
• Accept that admin approval is required for your listing

7. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of content you submit (notices, photos, listings, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display your content within the app for service provision purposes. All app design, features, logos, and trademarks are owned by ApniSociety.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

ApniSociety is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the performance or privacy practices of third-party services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApniSociety shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including disputes between users, societies, or vendors.

9. Termination & Suspension

You may delete your account at any time through app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms, your subscription payment fails, or we detect fraudulent or illegal activity.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication and good-faith negotiation for 30 days.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through in-app notifications or email to your registered address. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
