At ApniSociety, we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data from our system, we're here to help.

🗂 What Data Will Be Deleted?

Depending on your role (member, society admin, vendor, gatekeeper, or visitor), we will delete or anonymize personal data linked to your account, including:

  • Your personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
  • Profile photos, KYC / ID proofs, and uploaded documents
  • Member, family, and vehicle details
  • Vendor business profile, location verification, and payment details (if applicable)
  • Gatekeeper profile and duty attendance records (if applicable)
  • Payment history, receipts, and subscription identifiers (subject to legal retention)
  • Facility bookings and event registrations
  • Complaints and service requests
  • Notices and announcements you posted
  • Marketplace or rental / sale listings
  • Voting records and poll responses
  • Visitor profiles, approval history, and visitor / gate photos linked to you
  • Support tickets and legal consent records tied to your account (where no longer required)

⏱ What Happens Next?

We receive your deletion request via email

We verify your identity to ensure account security (within 2–3 business days)

Your account is deactivated immediately after verification

All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days

You receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

⚠️ Important Information

  • Permanent Action: Data deletion is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • Society Records: Some anonymized data may be retained for accounting and legal compliance.
  • Payment History: Financial records may be retained for 7 years as per Indian tax regulations.
  • No Refunds: No refunds will be provided for unused subscription periods after account deletion.
  • Access Loss: You will immediately lose access to all ApniSociety features upon deactivation.
